Army Client Relationship Executive
Location: Remote, with preference for DC/Northern Virginia, Huntsville, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Warren, Rock Island, or Fort Belvoir
Compensation: $200K to $250K base
Travel: Frequent travel may be required

Our client is a trusted SAP partner with expertise across Extended Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, RISE, S/4, Enterprise Asset Management, and related business transformation solutions.
They are seeking an Army Client Relationship Executive to manage and expand strategic relationships across Army logistics, sustainment, supply chain, enterprise technology, and modernization organizations.
This role is ideal for a senior business development or client relationship leader with strong Army relationships, knowledge of sustainment and logistics operations, and the ability to align customer mission needs with enterprise technology solutions.
About the Role
The Army Client Relationship Executive will serve as a primary growth and relationship lead across Army organizations such as Army Materiel Command, Army Sustainment Command, Combined Arms Support Command, Army Futures Command, and Army Program Executive Offices.
This person will identify, shape, and grow opportunities tied to Army logistics modernization, materiel readiness, sustainment operations, supply chain visibility, enterprise technology, and multi-domain readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strategic relationships with Army logistics, sustainment, modernization, technology, and acquisition stakeholders.
Serve as a trusted point of contact for customer engagement related to Army supply chain modernization, sustainment operations, materiel readiness, and enterprise technology initiatives.
Support customer conversations around operational challenges, readiness gaps, modernization priorities, and mission effectiveness.
Develop trusted relationships with Army leadership, operational units, program offices, and acquisition organizations.
Business Development and Growth
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities supporting Army logistics, sustainment, and enterprise modernization.
Develop growth strategies aligned with Army priorities such as predictive sustainment, contested logistics, data-centric operations, and modernization.
Support capture planning, pipeline development, opportunity shaping, whitepapers, capability briefings, demonstrations, and proposal responses.
Grow existing Army accounts by identifying expansion opportunities and aligning company capabilities to customer needs.
Strategic Solution Development
Work with technical and functional delivery teams to align solutions with Army operational requirements.
Help shape solutions related to logistics modernization, sustainment, asset visibility, maintenance, warehouse operations, supply chain optimization, and enterprise technology.
Support workshops, demonstrations, and customer engagements that communicate operational value.
Align customer needs with emerging technologies such as SAP S/4HANA, GCSS-Army-aligned solutions, AI/ML-enabled readiness, predictive maintenance, cloud-based logistics platforms, warehouse automation, and robotics.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Partner with sustainment leaders, solution architects, delivery teams, and internal business units to support growth and proposal execution.
Facilitate communication between Army stakeholders and technical teams.
Ensure proposed solutions remain aligned to customer mission, operational requirements, and company capabilities.
Market and Operational Awareness
Maintain awareness of Army logistics, sustainment, and modernization initiatives across AMC, ASC, CASCOM, AFC, and PEO organizations.
Monitor acquisition activity, contract vehicles, funding priorities, and growth opportunities.
Provide leadership with insight into Army priorities, customer needs, risks, and market direction.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years supporting Army, DoD, federal logistics, sustainment, enterprise technology, or ERP environments.
Experience in client relationship management, business development, capture management, or strategic growth activities.
Strong understanding of Army sustainment, logistics, enterprise technology systems, and modernization priorities.
Familiarity with Army logistics platforms such as GCSS-Army, LMP, AESIP, or related systems.
Experience coordinating with operational units, program offices, acquisition organizations, and technical teams.
Strong executive communication, relationship-building, and strategic growth skills.
Ability to grow business within existing Army or federal accounts.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting AMC, ASC, CASCOM, AFC, Army PEOs, PEO EIS, PEO CS&CSS, or related organizations.
SAP ecosystem experience, especially in Army logistics, ERP, sustainment, or enterprise transformation environments.
Experience with predictive maintenance, supply chain visibility, contested logistics, warehouse automation, transportation modernization, digital transformation, or enterprise integration.
Existing relationships within the Army sustainment, logistics, or acquisition community.
Experience supporting proposals, task orders, or growth under Army contract vehicles.
Active or eligible security clearance.
